Product Information

You'll learn fireworks shell making really fast with this kit. Plastic shells are faster and simpler to make than paper shells. This kit contains enough plastic shell parts, time fuse, and Super Fast Paper fuse to make up to 20 4-inch spherical (ball) shells.

Each kit contains:
- 4-inch Plastic Ball Shells, 20 sets (#PL2060)
- 1/4-inch Time Fuse, 10 feet (#GN2010)
- Super Fast Paper Fuse, 100 feet (#GN1205)

If you are making fireworks shells using stars, here are some great options:

The D1 Gold Glitter Star and Comet Kit provides enough material to fill 6 to 8, 4-inch shells.

You can make colored stars with the Rainbow Colors Rubber Stars Kit. provides enough material to fill 6 to 8, 4-inch shells.

The Zinc Cut Stars Kit provides enough material to fill 3 to 4 of the shells (plus the ingredients needed to make Red Gum Black Powder for lift and burst powder for them).

You will need to either buy the black powder or make it yourself. If you don't have a ball mill to make your own, you can order the Red Gum Black Powder Kit. Or you can make more powerful black powder with a ball mill, lead balls, and the Black Powder Chemicals Kit. You'll also need one or more 4-inch ID mortar tubes, and some supplies you probably already have at home (be sure and read the project instructions before you start).
