This refill kit for making 24 bright silver gerbs contains all the chemicals, tubes, and fuse, but does not contain the fountain tooling.
The Silver Gerb Refill Kit contains these supplies:
- Potassium Nitrate, 3 pounds (#CH5302)
- Airfloat Charcoal, 1 pound (#CH8068)
- Sulfur, 1 pound (#CH8315)
- 30-Inch Parallel Tubes, 7 (#TU1065)
- Bentonite Clay, 2 pounds (#CH8078)
- Titanium Powder, 2 pounds (#CH3008)
- Visco Fuse, 20 ft. (#GN1005)

Get this kit if you would like to make additional Silver Gerbs with your original Silver Gerb Kit, or if you already have the 1 lb. fountain tooling.
You can use hand-made black powder with this kit (but be sure and follow our project instructions closely). You definitely do not need a ball mill, but if you have one, you'll be able to make more consistent fountain fuel, and do it a lot quicker and easier. If you don't have a ball mill ou can use a blade-type coffee mill (cheap at WalMart).
To make the fuel you'll also need a 40 mesh and a 4 mesh screen. If you don't already have them, you can add them to your order.
The tubes included in this kit are 30-inches long. You cut them to size, using any kind of saw you may have. When you're just starting out, or experimenting with fuels, nozzles, nozzle hole size, etc., you'll save money by cutting short 3 to 4 inch long fountain tubes for testing. Finished fountains in this size typically run about 7.5 inches. If you want to make more than 24 fountains, add more tubes to your order.
