Save 20% off the retail prices of the individual components.

You can use hand-made black powder with this kit (but be sure and follow our project instructions closely). You definitely do not need a ball mill, but if you have one, you'll be able to make more consistent fountain fuel, and do it a lot quicker and easier.

To make the fuel you'll also need a 40 mesh and a 4 mesh screen. If you don't already have them, you can add them to your order. You'll also need a blade-type coffee mill (cheap at WalMart).

The tubes included in this kit are 30-inches long. You cut them to size, using any kind of saw you may have. When you're just starting out, or experimenting with fuels, nozzles, nozzle hole size, etc., you'll save money by cutting short 3 to 4 inch long fountain tubes. Finished fountains in this size typically run about 7.5 inches. If you want to make more than 24 fountains, add more tubes to your order.
