Learn how to make a cremora bomb, special effects fireball. These homemade fireballs are quick and easy to make using a fuel that you can find at any grocery store or agricultural supply store.
I keep getting questions from folks about how to make fireball special effects without using volatile liquids. Here’s how you can use Cremora to create the fireball. You can make these as large as you want, but start with a small #10 can to experiment and scale up from there.
Drill a visco fuse or electric match sized hole through the side of a #10 can, right down next to the bottom, as far down as you can go, and still be IN the can. Then sprinkle some black powder or smokeless powder into the can, so that the bottom is just barely covered with it. Then cover the black powder with a layer of tissue paper. Now fill the can with Cremora (brand powdered coffee creamer-not all creamers will work), or calf's milk substitute (from your local feed and seed or agricultural supply store). The higher the fat content, the better the Cremora bomb fireball. Next, insert the fuse or electric match into the hole you drilled. Be sure and be at least 50 feet away, if not further, when igniting the Cremora bomb fireball. A 5-gallon bucket makes a HUGE Cremora bomb fireball and is basically done the same way. You can whiten the flame, by adding some bright aluminum powder to the Cremora bomb.
