Used as a fuel and binder. Can easily be screened or coffee-milled into a fine powder. Natural vegetable gum whose solvent is alcohol.

"Chunky style" is a lower cost alternative to the more expensive air-milled variety. Otherwise identical.

Can be used as a binder in black powder to make high-powered black powder without the need of a ball mill.
