Product Information

(Acaroides, accroides gum, accroides resin, or yacca resin) [85% para-coumaric ester of xanthoresinotannol] Reddish brown, lumps

Chunky red gum is reddish brown clumpy powder used as a fuel and binder in fireworks. You can easily screen or coffee-mill chunky red gum into a fine powder. It is a natural vegetable gum whose solvent is alcohol.

"Chunky style" is a lower cost alternative to the more expensive air-milled variety. Otherwise identical.

Can be used as a binder to make high-powered black powder without the need of a ball mill.
